
Since 2023, James Berclaz-Lewis has served as Head of Programming at Visions du Réel, while also leading the Programming Office at the Vevey International Funny Film Festival. He has also been Chief Coordinator of FIFDH in Geneva, followed by a position on the programming team of the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival. He has collaborated with the Geneva International Film Festival, the feminist multidisciplinary festival Les Créatives, and played a role in Switzerland’s Lex Netflix campaign, advocating for national media policy reform.
As Head of Industry at Visions du Réel, Sabine Fayoux Cantillo shapes the department’s vision and programming, working with the Artistic Director to support bold, auteur-driven documentaries and foster meaningful connections between filmmakers and partners. With experience of programming and artist support, she was Associate Program Director at Chicken & Egg Films, supporting and advocating for women and gender-expansive filmmakers worldwide. Sabine has served on juries and panels internationally. She brings a care-centered, equity-driven approach to working in the documentary ecosystem.
