This year, IDFA welcomes sixteen delegations representing thirteen countries across Latin America, Africa, North America, Asia, and Europe, with nine Delegation Showcases offering opportunities to discover projects, perspectives, and documentary landscapes from around the world.

IDFA Delegations Drinks brings this international community together with Dutch producers for an informal evening of conversation and connection. Whether you’re joining IDFA for the first time or returning to see familiar faces, this is a chance to exchange experiences, share ideas, and meet potential collaborators beyond the festival’s scheduled sessions.

A gathering that celebrates the people and relationships behind documentary filmmaking: conversations that cross borders, introductions that open doors, and the unexpected encounters that may grow into future collaborations. With no formal agenda, simply come along, enjoy a drink, and spend time with fellow professionals from across the documentary community.
