Part artist talk, part generative workshop, Angelo Madsen Minax will present several of his short film works that consider how text (as voice-over, narration, on-screen text, conversational discourse, etc.) and images are interwoven, formally and conceptually. In a corresponding workshop, Madsen will introduce his concept of "loose association-based editing" and lead participants through an exercise to explore this method in their own writing process.

Open to 10 participants. Please bring a laptop (preferred, but you can still participate without), writing supplies, and personal headphones.
