In the DocLab: VR Gallery, you can watch the best virtual reality films and experiences from the DocLab: Phenomenal Friction program. Make your personal selection from all available VR films, including Buried in the Rock by Shehani Fernando, Matthew Shaw and William Trossell; Close by Hana Umeda; Dance Permit (Denied) by Claudix Vanesix; Emperor by Marion Burger and Ilan Cohen; Floating with Spirits by Juanita Onzaga; Fresh Memories: The Look by Volodymyr Kolbasa and Omdrej Moravec; Going Back Home: Mother VR by Catalina Alarcón; Lateral by Charlie Shackleton; Natalie’s Trifecta by Natalie Paneng; and Texada by Josephine Anderson and Claire Sanford.
A ticket for the DocLab: VR Gallery allows you to watch projects of your choice during a 50-minute time slot, so you can see a rich variety of VR projects. The VR Gallery is located in Arti et Amicitiae at Rokin 112 in Amsterdam’s city center, close to Spui. If you want to watch all the VR films on offer, you will need four timeslots (and therefore four tickets).
This location is unfortunately not accessible for wheelchairs. Do you have reduced mobility? Please send an e-mail to service@idfa.nl and our staff will reserve a spot for you in the accessible VR Booth at De Brakke Grond, where you can see the full VR Gallery selection.
