What is lost, gained, and transformed when the lives we live are rewritten by technology? With three experimental full-dome screenings, we embrace the elusiveness of how reality can be perceived—from the fragility of human memory to the absurdity of Computer Vision and digital imagination.

In Burn from Absence, filmmaker Emeline Courcier uses artificial intelligence to reimagine the lost and scattered fragments of her family’s migration history, revealing how there is no definite version of the past—only infinite and contradictory versions.  

Google volume 2 is a 'visual dictionary' adapted from the internet by Ben West & Felix Heyes, premiering at IDFA as a physical installation and a full-dome experience. It’s a playful yet critical exploration of how algorithms shape our understanding of language.

Finally, we present the full-dome world premiere of Limbophobia, an immersive experience by Wen-Yee Hsieh that thrusts us into a misty nocturnal landscape of existential terror. The work asks us to confront our own fears and uncertainties in an increasingly chaotic world. 

Burn from Absence and Google volume 2 are also part of the DocLab Exhibition in de Brakke Grond, with Limbophobia also on display in the VR Gallery in @droog.
