This last year has underlined the great struggle of Palestinians merely to exist. Palestinian arts and culture—and cinema in particular—have long played a fundamental role in protecting the Palestinian narrative and reflecting the Palestinian struggle over the past 76 years. In this tradition, the Palestine Film Institute (PFI), in collaboration with IDFA, proudly presents the Palestine Showcase, to uplift Palestinian narratives in industry forums.

This showcase is an opportunity for filmmakers and industry representatives to make new connections and find future partners. It provides a platform for exchange and solidarity, and an opportunity to build alliances that will ensure these important projects are made and seen widely. The projects have received tailored mentoring from PFI's industry consultants and have been supported with access to the festival through accreditation, accommodation and travel support.
