ACE Producers (ACE) is Europe’s premier community of independent producers, dedicated to developing the entrepreneurial, collaborative, and adaptive skills needed in a rapidly evolving industry. Each year, 18 producers join after completing the ACE Annual Programme, a series of high-level workshops on leadership, co-production, and business strategy. ACE also offers Specials on series, animation, and leadership, as well as its Springboard for emerging producers. With a global network of over 280 members, ACE fosters collaboration, embraces innovation, and supports sustainable storytelling across borders: empowering producers to lead creatively and strategically on the international stage.

Jacobine van der Vloed is the Director & Head of Studies at Amsterdam-based ACE Producers, having taken up the role in January 2017. Before that she worked for over ten years for International Film Festival Rotterdam (CineMart & Hubert Bals Fund), as well as in many other capacities within the industry. In the four years before joining ACE Producers, she co-founded the Art:Film initiative, worked as a teacher at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, was a talent agent for directors and screenwriters at Henneman Agency, and consulted for several markets and festivals. She graduated with a Masters Degree in Cultural History from the University of Utrecht in 2002.
