XR and new media offer audiences the tantalising possibility to get off the sofa or the phone and interact and engage with stories from other worlds. We know the audience appetite is there, and we know that we need new strategies to get these projects to audiences. But there are still so many questions to be answered on the what and how of XR distribution.
How do we better attract young people? How can we keep up with the ever-changing technology that is needed? Where are the spaces that help us bring these experiences to audiences? And how do we fund it all?
Hear from artists and innovators in the XR field who are exploring and experimenting with project formats and audience models, and coaxing audiences to interact and engage in new ways.
Moderator: Julia Scott-Stevenson
Speakers: Celine Daemen (director, Nothing to See Here), Siza Mukwedini (producer, The Rift / Founder Matamba Film Labs for Women), Babette Wijntjes (founder of VR distribution platform Nu:Reality)
