IDFA Forum introduces a series of thematic Funding Sessions curated around specific financing models, offering filmmakers practical insights into navigating today’s documentary financing landscape.
This session brings together key international funders who support documentary projects across borders. Moderator Jane Mote (The Whickers) will be joined by Rasmus Steen (IMS), Jenni Wolfson (Chicken & Egg Pictures), and TBC representatives from Doc Society and the Sundance Documentary Fund, for a conversation about how transnational support works in practice. The panel will explore what these funds prioritise, how they collaborate internationally, and what opportunities exist for filmmakers seeking partners beyond their domestic landscapes.
