Just Look Up is an energetic portrait of Michael Greenberg and the activists of Climate Defiance, who disrupt events in the run-up to the 2024 US presidential election. Against a bleak political backdrop, the film follows a group of young idealists who remain determined to act — and stubbornly hopeful.

The energy of the film continues after the screening in a linedance workshop led by queer dance collective STOMP. Linedance, with its shared steps and rhythm, becomes another way of moving together: from watching and reflecting to taking part.
