Chile arrives at IDFA with a vibrant delegation of emerging and renowned producers and filmmakers, reflecting the diversity and creative strength of its documentary scene. With a long-standing and growing relationship with the festival, Chile continues to share stories that cross borders.
Supported by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, this year’s delegation includes four producers presenting projects in development and works in progress, seeking new international partners.
We also celebrate the World Premiere of Blue Silence by Matías Rojas in the Short Film Competition; Letters to My Dead Parents by Ignacio Agüero and Life Invisible by Bettina Perut and Iván Osnovikoff in the Signed section; and Dead Tongue by José Jiménez in Best of Fests.
