IDFA Meets is an experimental, interdisciplinary partner program curated by the new generation within IDFA. For this edition, IDFA joins forces with Steppin’ Into Tomorrow: a music platform and community that spotlights contemporary sounds from the Netherlands, representing the vibrant local jazz and soulful music scene.

The collaboration unfolds in two parts. First, there will be a screening of We Want the Funk!, followed by an afterparty titled Get On The Good Foot: a lively celebration of funk where dance takes center stage. The evening features a performance by Amsterdam funk band Amber Hunters, the dance collective Funky Femme Project, and sets by DJs Lucas Benjamin and Rob Manga, with MC Faizel Playfair from Ghetto Funk Collective tying it all together.

Admission to Get On The Good Foot is free, but tickets must be reserved online via the event page.
