Every March, in the heart of international Geneva and running in parallel with the main session of the UN Human Rights Council, the FIFDH (International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights) is dedicated to both cinema and the promotion of human rights. One of the leading festivals in this category, its team holds a strong conviction that certain films have the potential to instigate a shift in consciousness, spark new ideas and commitments, and ultimately drive social change. The FIFDH is a platform to connect filmmakers and film participants with NGOs and philanthropists working on the same issues, and a place to amplify advocacy messages in various ways. Its unique program, the Impact Days, running since 2019, is entirely dedicated to training professionals and developing collaborative synergies (strategy and financing) to run impact campaigns around documentary films.
