Synopsis
Filmmaker Tomas Cali moves from his native Brazil to Paris. Learning a new language is hard for him; he feels alone and misunderstood. At drawing class he meets Linda Demorrir. She is a nude model, also comes from another country and, like him, is transgender. In drawing her body in the studio, he also gradually sketches more of himself and his own new reality.
In this partly animated story, two people look into a new, exciting world that often stares back at them with unforgiving judgement. This is a film about drawing strength from another person and finding it within yourself. People labeled as outsiders are the common thread in Cali’s work.
