Synopsis
With an overwhelming flood of images and sounds, this short film evokes the feeling of being hurt. Like a child picking at the raw edges of a scab.
The source of the pain remains abstract. It is its manifestation that makes this student film tangible in a collage of poetry, animation and film images that have been painted over, drawn on and scratched out. A self-image torn to pieces, a body that feels like an open wound. Emotions that lie on the surface like chafing sores. But also, the possibility of metamorphosis.
With an ever-quickening pace, the film moves towards the thin line between self-destruction and rebirth.
