Brigid O’Shea

Brigid O'Shea is a documentary consultant, helping documentary projects and filmmakers reach their full international potential and professional goals. Her international network spans the globe, and she works with both emerging talent and industry veterans. She serves on the boards of B2B Doc, Circle Women Doc Accelerator, and Dokufest in Prizren, Kosovo. Together with other colleagues she founded the Documentary Association of Europe, a members network and support system for documentary filmmakers inside and outside of Europe that has grown to 700 members in just three years. 

O’Shea was head of DOK Industry Programme at DOK Leipzig and worked for the Berlin International Film Festival for more than 10 years. With her wide and diverse network, she’s an internationally respected curator of programs and moderator of discussions on non-fiction filmmaking. She serves on selection committees and scouts for work for international platforms. She tutors others across the globe, particularly in Asia, Africa, and the Eastern Partnership countries on festival strategy, international co-financing and pitching as well as cultural management.

Nadim Jarjoura

Nadim Jarjoura is a film critic at Arabic daily newspaper and website Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed. His articles and studies have been featured in an array of high-profile Arab magazines that have been published across Lebanon, Kuwait, Oman, France and Qatar. He also contributed as an author to several books on Lebanese and Arab cinema and participated in a symposium on Lebanese cinema at the 2018 Guanajuato International Film Festival in Mexico. 

Jarjoura was chairman of the short film competition jury at the Jerusalem Arab Film Festival this year. Previously he was a member of the jury of the feature film competition at the 2019 Human Rights Film Festival in Amman, Jordan. In 2011, he served as a member of the International Critics Association (FIPRESCI) jury for Arab Documentary Films at the Dubai International Film Festival.
