Eroll Bilibani

Square Eroll Bilibani

Eroll Bilibani is a producer with extensive experience in film and education. Over the years, he has led impactful educational initiatives at DokuFest, where he uses cinema as a tool for social development and a means to explore complex topics. He has produced more than 120 short films for first-time filmmakers, many of which have been screened in local schools and cinemas. As a co-founder of the Future Is Here film education initiative, he provides young people with hands-on experience in documentary filmmaking. Eroll’s production credits include award-winning films such as Home (2016), In Between (2019), Displaced (2021), and On the Way (2024). His contributions to cinema and education have earned him recognition, including being named one of the “New Europe 100” changemakers in Central and Eastern Europe. He was also honored with the Erhard Busek Award for Engaged Artists. 

Monica Taboada-Tapia

Monica Taboada-Tapia studied Anthropology as well as Filmmaking and TV. Her film projects have been showcased in markets and labs such as TorinoFilmLab, Tribeca Film Institute Network, DocsBarcelona, DocMontevideo Pitch, NYT’s Op-Docs, Pulitzer Center, and Tribeca Film Institute International Pitch. She directed the short films Fidel (2012), Two-Spirit (2021), and Red Flag (2023), all of which were selected for renowned film festivals including IDFA, Outfest, BFI Flare, New Filmmakers LA, FICCI, Bogoshorts, and Palm Springs, winning various awards. Two-Spirit, which was distributed by The New Yorker, was nominated for the 2022 Macondo Awards by the Colombian Academy and the 2022 IDA Awards. Taboada-Tapia also produced the documentary Causas Elevadas (2021) and served as showrunner for the series El placer de escaparse del mundo (2021). Her directing debut feature Alma del desierto (2024) won the Queer Lion Award at the 81st Venice Film Festival, Giornate degli Autori. 

Darunee Terdtoontaveedej

Darunee Terdtoontaveedej is a curator and cultural programmer based in The Hague. As of 2024, they have been appointed as artistic director at CinemAsia Film Festival (Amsterdam). Formerly trained as an architect and designer, Terdtoontaveedej is interested in the intersection of alternative (hi)stories, creative assembly, and cinema. They have programmed at festivals and institutions such as International Film Festival Rotterdam, Sinema Transtopia (Berlin), Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film (Singapore), and Singapore International Film Festival, and have served as jury member for the Teddy Award at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival and MIX Copenhagen. In addition to film programming, Terdtoontaveedej has developed the Queer Nongkrong, an experimental and collaborative intentional space for the queer diasporic community at CinemAsia Film Festival until 2024. Between 2018 and 2023, Terdtoontaveedej was a co-founder and curator of Non Native Native (NNN), a cultural platform looking into the Asian creative landscape in the Netherlands through the lens of outsiders from within.
