Karim Ben Khelifa

Karim Ben Khelifa is a photojournalist and new media director with extensive experience pushing the boundaries of traditional journalism by combining non-fiction storytelling with science and technology. As an immersive media producer and multimedia director, he leads teams to create engaging and highly innovative documentary content, while bringing a unique global perspective and profound editorial judgment to every project he’s involved in. He is a former fellow at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University, an artist-in-residence at the OpenDocLab and a visiting artist at Center for Arts, Science & Technology, both at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ben Khelifa is also a lecturer at a variety of different academic institutions and has been a mentor at conferences and festivals. He’s an advisory board member of the Center for Advanced Virtuality at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a member of the Guild of Future Architects in Los Angeles.

Amy Rose is a director and maker working with non-fiction stories and interaction. Co-founder of immersive studio Anagram, she joined the Pervasive Media Studio in 2013 and is now Lead Curator of Undershed, the newly opened immersive gallery at Watershed in Bristol.

Jarl Schulp

Jarl Schulp is a festival/event organizer and curator working across digital culture, performance art, sound and club culture. He is director of the Amsterdam-based FIBER Festival, which deals with the artistic and critical application of computer and network technology within emerging creative practices. He also curates and designs exhibitions, and develops programs for artistic labs. He focuses on sensory and cinematic storytelling making intangible and invisible processes accessible. He was a tutor at the MA Ecology Futures, has a background in designing exhibitions and information systems for museum and cultural institutes, and has worked as discourse programmer at club TrouwAmsterdam.
