Keen for a chat after the screening? Visit the festival cafés where you can enjoy a bite or a drink throughout the day.
Café Vertigo
Address: Vondelpark 3
On the ground floor of IDFA’s documentary hub, Het Documentaire Paviljoen, you can stop by for lunch, dinner, or drinks.
Café de Kuyl
Address: Rembrandtplein 26
Once again, Café Kuyl is one of the cozy festival hubs this year. Show your IDFA ticket (valid for the day) and receive a 20% discount on their full lunch and dinner menu.

The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Drop by for a drink or snack after visiting the DocLab exhibition.
Eetcafé de Brakke Grond
Address: Nes 45
Open daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. It's also a great spot to unwind after experiencing the DocLab exhibition.
Heineken Hoek
Address: Leidseplein 19
Open daily, with closing times varying between 1 am and 2 am. Located in the heart of Amsterdam, surrounded by festival venues, it’s the perfect place to grab a bite to eat or a drink. Festival pass holders also receive a 15% discount.
Dance nights
Throughout the festival, we’ve also planned two dance nights at our own hub.
Saturdays (November 14 and 21)
Het Documentaire Paviljoen will be transformed into a temporary club.
