No Other Land wins the IDFA NPO Doc Audience Award 2024
No Other Land by Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham, Rachel Szor has won the IDFA NPO Doc Audience Award 2024, the grand public prize of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA). The prize will be awarded in the Royal Theater Tuschinski on Saturday night, November 23, followed by a special screening of the film.
No Other Land is an award-winning documentary that captures the ongoing attacks by Israel on a network of Palestinian villages in the West Bank. Heroically documented by a collective of Palestinian and Israeli journalists, the film presents a powerful and urgent narrative.
Award Ceremony
The award will be presented on Saturday evening at 20:30 in the iconic Royal Theater Tuschinski by documentary filmmaker Nawa Sira van Sluijs, followed by a screening of the film. Tickets for this event are still available.
NPO Doc IDFA Audience Award
The winner of the NPO Doc IDFA Audience Award is chosen by festivalgoers, who cast their votes via a QR code after screenings. The award, made possible for the fourth consecutive year by NPO, includes a prize of €5,000. No Other Land will be broadcast in 2025 by VPRO as part of NPO Doc on NPO 2 and NPO Start.

IDFA 2024 Attendance Figures
In 2024, we anticipate a total of 260,000 visits to IDFA. This includes an estimated 162,000 film screenings attended by the general audience and school groups—an increase of over 6% compared to 2023. Attendance for IDFA's professional program was approximately 34,000, with nearly 3,000 film professionals attending this year's festival. Throughout the year, IDFA is expected to generate an additional 64,000 visits.
