Synopsis

In this dialogue-free, ultra-short film consisting of a single moving shot with a distinctive soundtrack, a grainy close-up reveals the contours of a hand, then a face. To the rhythm of industrial sounds, the camera pans along a row of lamps in the background. The silhouette of a woman appears and disappears, the rumbling sounds dissolving into the sound of the sea. In the twilight, a vast horizon emerges.

Huezo loves films that make you think—or even leave you confused. That is exactly what Sueño does. Huezo made this dreamlike, slightly disorienting short as part of her Master’s in Creative Documentary at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.
