Synopsis
“Hey Dad. There’s something I want to tell you.” In this short, contemplative Taiwanese animation, a young man searches for the courage and the words to reveal the secret that stands between him and his father. His thoughts are manifested in the natural environment around him, in the form of giant statues of male nudes. As he sits beside his father looking out to sea, the waves reflect his state of mind.
But however big and important the issue is, saying the words is another matter. Is he sure he wants his father to know? Does his father actually want to know? If after 20 years, the time still isn’t right, will the moment come in another 20 years?
