For over a century, planetariums have opened a window on the cosmos, turning our gaze far beyond ourselves. But what happens when we look down instead, to the ground beneath our feet? To the here and now, and to the many worlds that intersect there?
During this fulldome evening at ARTIS-Planetarium, this downward gaze becomes an exercise in landing: a return to the shared earth where human and non-human lives unfold together.
From zooming in on the tiniest chemical reactions that reveal constant transformation (The Odeus, Thomas Vanz) to a dance performance probing our relationship with climate and landscape (The Rift, Janire Najera, Matthew Wright & 4Pi Productions); from quantum worlds revealed in everyday life (Reality Looks Back, Anne Jeppesen) to rituals and traditions clashing with the virtual world (Feedback, Collective AMiXR), and profound reflections on how a single life is shaped by space and time (Eternal Habitat, Sergey Prokofyev).
Together, these works invite us to slow down, re-situate ourselves and rethink our relationship with the world. While one question lingers: do we, in fact, share the same reality?
Presented with ARTIS-Planetarium and co-curated with Diversion.

Feedback Fulldome, un musical antifuturista
A fulldome adaptation of a VR musical in which you drink a mystical beverage and then travel through digital and physical dimensions. Three figures, inspired by Andean futurism, guide you through a ritual that examines tradition, identity & technology.
