The AI apocalypse has begun, bringing with it a deadly form of brain rot. And the only cure is… human connection! Work together with all your fellow audience members to save the internet, but beware: there’s an algorithmic demon hiding among you.
Everyone in the audience creates their own character on their phone, which then appears on the cinema screen. Guided by a game host, you collectively explore a mysterious island where you play a whole range of separate games: shooting arrows like Cupid, taking part in musical interludes, and making life-or-death decisions in a real-life trolley problem.
Escape the Internet is a hilarious, chaotic and unifying video game on the big screen; a love letter to video games in which you learn more about the people sitting next to you. After this unique collective experience, you will know your fellow players a bit better and have kept the brain rot at bay—for a little while, at least.
